Rangeland Development Services (RDS)

Formerly known as KCVC, is an indigenous NGO that focuses on building resilient pastoral communities in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Established as a Limited Company by Guarantee, RDS is registered under Company Registration No. 80020003209418 with the Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) since August 6, 2021.

The organization operates under the NGO Act 2016 and the NGO Regulation 2017, guided by its registration (INDR159815214NB) and work permit (INDP0005214NB) issued by the National Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO) Bureau on August 17, 2022.

Livestock Health & Production

We support livestock farmers with innovative solutions to enhance productivity, ensure animal health, and promote sustainable livestock farming practices. Our programs provide veterinary services, disease control measures, and training to empower farmers with the knowledge and skills they need.

Peace, Unity & Sustainable Development

We believe in the power of unity to drive sustainable progress. Our peace-building initiatives encourage social cohesion, conflict resolution, and the promotion of inclusive development, ensuring that no one is left behind.

Natural Resource Management

Committed to environmental conservation, we implement strategies to sustainably manage rangelands and other natural resources. Our initiatives include land restoration, water resource management, and promoting climate-smart agricultural practices.

Public Health & Food Safety

Health and nutrition are fundamental to community well-being. We work to enhance public health through education, improved sanitation, and access to safe and nutritious food, ensuring communities lead healthier lives.

Socio-Economic Development

We empower communities by fostering economic resilience through capacity-building programs, entrepreneurship support, and financial literacy training. Our goal is to improve income levels and create opportunities for self-sufficiency.

Disaster Risk Mitigation & Humanitarian Assistance
